| Noteworthy: Complex Surfboard Winner Announced! |

November 2008 - Congratulations to Mahealani Hookano from Costa Mesa, California! Mahealani was selected as the lucky winner of the custom, limited edition Redsand surfboard after she entered into the Complex magazine-sponsored contest on Complex.com. The board she won is a custom 5’10” Stu Kenson-shaped fish board, featuring a graphic photo taken by Redsand team rider and renowned photographer Joe Curren in July 2006 after he visited the tiny West African nation of Sao Tome & Principe, where the locals ride waves in belly boards made from old dug out canoes. Mahealani visited the Redsand office last month to pick up her new board, and she could hardly wait to try it out!
